The Dress

Dresses at One Bridal start at £250 and go up to £3,000

Be honest with your personal bridal stylist about the price point that makes you feel most comfortable and communicate any concerns you may have. Your stylist will be happy to ease uncertainty and answer questions regarding payment. Please note that a 50% deposit of the dress is due at the time of purchase.

Please keep in mind that sooner is always better! We encourage brides to shop and purchase their wedding gown 9-12 months prior to the wedding day. Avoid rush fees and limited options by choosing your dress with plenty of time to spare.

Accessories

This includes pieces such as your veil, headpiece, belt, jewelry, or shoes. We have a wide assortment of heirloom-worthy pieces at different price points to accommodate a variety of budgets.

Alterations

Regardless of the dress you choose, it will most likely need alterations. This is the process of fitting the gown to you and involves the hem, bustle, molding and sculpting it to your shape, steaming, and packaging it for wedding day. You can typically anticipate about 2-4 fitting appointments throughout the 2 month span leading up to your wedding day. We are lucky to have our in-house seamstress Christina who will put in over 30 hours of love, care, and craftsmanship into perfecting your dress!

The price of alterarations cannot be confirmed until you have met with Christina, there is a £25 booking fee for the first appointment payable once your dress has arrived. You are welcome to complete alterations with us, however, you are certainly not required to do so, you do not have to make this decision at the time of purchase.

Who To Bring To Your  Appointment

Congrats! It’s finally your turn to be a One Bridal bride. We are beyond honored and excited to be a part of this incredible chapter in your life. The next step after booking your appointment is to decide who will join you during your dress shopping experience.

One Bridal welcomes you to bring up to 3 guests who will uplift and celebrate you throughout your very own say “yes” moment. We encourage you to carefully select those who will best support you and your vision. With this being said, sometimes less is more. Whether you decide to shop by yourself or with others, we sincerely look forward to welcoming you through our showroom doors.

Of course, we understand that this intimate experience and family dynamics look differently for everyone. While there is certainly no “one size fits all” for wedding dress shopping, we charge £25 booking fee upon confirming your appointment, this is for yourself and up to three guests, any extra guests will be charged at £5 each which covers a glass of prosecco and luxury snacks for your appointment, please specify on the booking form how many guests will be attending.

What to Expect During Your One Bridal Appointment

Upon entering our doors, your experience is destined to be unlike anywhere else. With that, you may be uncertain as to what to expect. We’ve got you covered! Our dedicated team has curated an outline to prepare you and put you at ease. We want to ensure you have everything you could possibly need in order to enhance efficiency and make the most out of your experience.

What to Bring

First and foremost, we prioritise your comfort and confidence. Whether it be a strapless bra or high heels, you are welcome to bring any item that makes you feel your best. Some type of underwear is the only garment that is required due to sanitary purposes. We also do ask not to wear much make up (if any) or any fake tan as these products can ruin our samples.

Meet Your Personal Bridal Stylist

Upon entering, our reception team will be waiting to greet you and your guests with a glass of bubbly (please state upon booking if you would prefer a mocktail or water!) You will be invited to relax in our bar area as you wait for your personal bridal stylist to welcome you to browse our showroom.

Your Dressing Room

Please note that our dressing room area is down a flight of stairs and completley private to yourself and your guests for 90 minutes.

After seating your guests your stylist will escort you to a private dressing room to try on your selected gowns.

Your vision is our focus. Your personal bridal stylist will inquire about all-things wedding, and most importantly, you! From your partner’s name to the venue and your dress desires, we are all ears. At this time, we encourage you to vocalize details such as budget, a specific dress you are hoping to try on, or any questions you may have.

Once you’re settled, you will slip into a One Bridal robe in between try ons.

Try On

In our show room we will initially ask you to select 3-5 gowns to. You will have the opportunity to showcase the gowns to your guests seated in the downstairs dressing room. You will not be limited to try on a certain number of dresses. Simply put, we are committed to having you try on as many gowns as needed within the duration of the appointment time.

Please note that One Bridal's array of straight and plus size samples vary. Regardless of your exact dress size, your stylist is expertly trained to clip and fit the gown to you whether the sample be too big, too small, or just right!

We kindly ask you to be mindful of your allotted appointment time, whether it be a traditional 90 minute appointment or a VIP 3 hour appointment (at an extra cost of £25), as our team is committed to punctuality for each and every one of our brides. Trust your stylist to guide you throughout the appointment to ensure you’re maximizing your time and staying on track.

Whether it be the very first one you slip into or it takes several gowns to discover your bridal style, our expert team is committed to guiding you throughout your appointment until we discover your dream dress.

Accessories

Your bridal stylist will complete your bridal look with a curated offering of accessories such as veils, jewelry, headpieces, and belts (just to name a few!) specifically based on your gown and vision.

If you are not able to fully complete your look during your initial bridal appointment time, no need to worry! We invite you to book in for a second appointment where you will be able to work one-on-one with a personal accessories stylist to finish off your bridal look.

Say “Yes!”

Saying “yes!” at One Bridal is a monumental moment. Once we’ve curated your ultimate bridal look, you will be admired and celebrated by your loved ones and our team!

Our goal is to match you to the dress that represents your forever. We strive to find it seamlessly! However, we understand that this is a big decision. If you need more time, we’re happy to schedule another appointment for you to explore more options until your “yes!” moment comes.

After you find your gown, your stylist will take your measurements and complete your order.

Deposit

Your personal bridal stylist will lead you back up to reception and bar area to take your payment.

Please note that a 50% deposit is due at the time of purchase. At this time, you will be provided with information regarding your gown’s delivery, pick-up, shipping, and alterations. While all of this information will be outlined, you will not be required to solidify any of those details at the time of placing your order.

Cancelling your appointment

To cancel your appointment, please call 48 hours in advance. Please note that you will be charged the booking fee of £25 if you do not cancel within the 48 hours timeframe.
